In case you haven’t guessed by now…I love sweets.
More specifically, chocolate. Like, I LOVE it. I would easily be categorized as a “choco-holic”… and I’m totally okay with that. But that’s lucky for you, because I’m always on the lookout for new and healthy treats to make, eat, and share with my family, and you! I’m of the firm belief that everyone needs a little chocolate in their lives (unless you are allergic. In that case, I feel very, very sad for you).
That’s what I have to remind myself each and every day. On those days when your kids start screaming before your feet have even hit the floor. Or when you drag yourself out of bed after a night of no sleep due to one of a bagillion reasons; sick kid…snoring husband…I could go on. When the dog throws up all over the place as you are walking out the door for work, and you’re already late. Or when your toddler has a melt down because his banana broke in half, then refuses to eat it, and screams and screams because he wants his banana. On the days when your sanity is tested to the max. When you receive devastating news of a friend or family member. Or when everything that could go wrong, does.
Easier said than done, sometimes it seems. But I’ll tell you, it’s the only way I can keep my sanity some days. Okay…most days. I’m seriously considering branding myself with a tattoo, just so I’ll have that daily reminder. It’s that important.
